I just found this site and I think it’s wonderful to be able to connect with other expats here in Spain.  I’ve been in Aranda for just over a month now and I’m planning to stay in Spain for at least a year or so.  My Spanish is coming along and I have a few friends here I intercambio with - but it would be nice to sit and have a coffee and chat with someone who knows how it feels to be new here.  If you’re interested - let me know.  I’m 32 by the way and currently working as an au pair, but I am TESOL certified and hoping to get some experience teaching on the side.  Anyway, hope you hear from you soon.  Take care, T.

I just moved to Madrid a month and a half ago from California. I currently study a Masters in Graphic Arts and wouldn?t mind sitting for a cup of coffee or tea when you come in town. I live in Madrid and I am slowly but surely getting the hang of things here. Would be great to hear from someone else who is also doing the same.
