hello to you all on the expats forum. my husband and i will be making the move to Spain in around 6 months to a year. We are glass artists - blowers and engravers and intend to take our studio with us. I hope to be able to open it to the public along with a gallery and tea shop (or the Spanish equivalent!).

I’m so pleased to have found your site and have already found the information offered of the utmost importance and interest to me. As an artist I’ve been finding the business and tax laws a little confusing but I’m sure I’ll find more relevant info for me somewhere on this site.

We welcome any advice on where and how to buy a business premises and any legal or financial advice (cautionary or otherwise) you feel inclined to offer. We also welcome you all as kindred spirits and our first Spanish friends.

PS. Was going to show you a picture of what I make but no amount of resizing and re-saving as different file types seems to have worked, my picture still gets rejected as an incorrect MIME ! whatever that is! can anyone explain? thanks folks.
