Can some one inform me about the cost of electricity in Spain please?
I bought a property in the near of Denia, and we are looking to install a new heating system.  A heatpump is one of the options, but the electricity price is important when choosing a heatpump.
Can some one inform me about the cost of it ...

The cost of electricity of my Bill (Live near Alicante)
Fixed Charges for
Potenicia is 5.5 KW for 2 months is 18.066?
Equipment rental (Meter)    IS   1.08

Each KWH is   0.093303c

and IVA is a t 16% on the Total,

I note also you comment on Heating systems,  I would argue that the most cost effective method of heating is with a Heatpump and preferrably with a GEOTHERMAL heat pump. further the added bonus is that you can use it for cooling also. If you wish I can send you some info and a case study, further you may be able to apply for a grant for up to 40% of the costs from the Valencian Government.

Thanks for your answer, this helps me a lot.

I am active in the HVAC (you have a nice website), that’s why I am thinking about a heatpump, seems the best way for heating in the Spanish climate to me.
I agree that a geothermal is the most effective one, but as we are using the property as a holiday home, the investment is to big and also the economical return is to long.

The grant you are talking about, what is that exactly for?  Are there grants for solarpanels also (and in witch use)?  Where can I find more information about grants of all kind?  Are these grants also for people using there home as a hiloday home, so owners living abroad and nod having their permanent address at their Spanish address?

Nope ... you must be a permanent resident. Besides it might take a lot of time ... especially now, with this awful crisis which appears to affect Spain more that expected

This is what I thought, that’s why I don’t want to invest in a geotherm heatpump.
I think it will be a heatpump Air/Water for heating and cooling.
