Hello all,

Well due to the horrible economy that we’re going thru right now, I had no choice but head back to the states, temporarily. It really is a horrible feeling but one I must do for now.

I was born in Spain but my family moved to the states when I was an infant and had been living there ever since.  As I got older and made trips to Spain, it got harder and harder to head back to the states. So roughly two years ago I decided to permantly move to Spain which was the best life decision I made.  having been born in Spain and having all in order (DNI, Seguridad Social, etc) I had no problems able to land a good job and been blessed to have been able to live and work thru out all of Spain.  After working in Malaga I took an advancement job in Almeria in which I lived for the last 6 months. 

Everything was fine till last month when my Employer shut down due to financial reasons without been able to pay his employees. After realizing that it was going to be rough finding a good paying job in Telcom or IT I made the rough decision that maybe it might be better to head back to the states to do a bit of studying in my field. This is tough considering I will have to leave my GF behind in Spain,  but while she finishes her university degree there, I will be working and studying back in the states.

And here I am now, just arrived to NYC Saturday night and have already been able to land a good paying job in the Telcom field. I mean I’m extremely sad to be here, but also more sad to also realize how shitty the pay can be in Spain. 

well, I think I should lay off the ranting right now.  but just wanted to say hi to all.
