Hi

I am just stopping by as I am planning a move to spain the the new year, March / April looks like the most likly date at the moment.

I have a house rental sorted and will look to buy a property when I have mooved, have done some research over the past 3 years in to Spain and the property market but as with most things it is going to be easier to get somthing sorted when I am in the country rather than via email.

I am not sure what else to say apart from I work for myself from home and working in Spain should be nicer then working in the UK.

Good luck to you !  There are more people heading home than moving down here.

hi if you are thinking of moving to spain in april time then i can only say that, generrally work is very hard to come by,but if you are moving to a coastal area and are prepared to work long hours then usually there is plenty of work in the hotel, restaraunt areas.here in the area i live there seems to be plenty of work in the summer season..and plenty of english bar and retsaraunt owners…good luck

Hi Sean, good luck.  Whereabouts are you moving, and do you speak Spanish?  These two aspects of life will make all the difference.

hi i suppose you have already checked this out ,but depending on where you move to and, indeed who you know in spain the prices of rentals and sale properties are very different, just for an extreme example the differensce between buying a beachside property as opposed to a 2o min inland journey can be as much as 100,000eur and rentals 100 to 150 eur per month difference, and as anyone can tell you at the moment 100 eur makes one hell of a difference to your wallet
