Has anybody used OMIC (Oficina Municipal de Informacion al Consumer) or any other organisation established to help consumers who are getting no resolution to a complaint.

My issue is with Scamair, sorry Spanair, and it has now taken six months to get absolutely no response from them whatsoever.

Although the sum involved is relatively small, I refuse to just ‘go away’ and want to persue the matter.

I have seen a item in the RTN about OMIC but when I phoned them up they only spoke Spanish - OK, not unreasonable. However, before I travel to the office in Pilar de La Horadada with a translator, I would like to know if there is an office nearer to La Marina and/or an office with English speaking staff.

Does anybody have any information that might help me regarding the above, comment on their effectiveness or know of any other consumer organisation that might be able to help me.
