I’m interested to know if any of you pay as much for the water as I do. I live in Girona region on Costa Brava, have a pool and a small garden. water is being charged quartely, so during winter months I pay 25-50 euros, which is ok, but then for the next 2 quarters I have to pay 600 euros!  And the last quarter is about 250. So it is 1500 a year! Is this normal?

I use irrigation for 3 months during summer 3 times a week. and fill in the swimming pool a little bit as it evaporates (in summer only).

Wow thats expensive - In the years 2002 - 2006 I was paying around 400 - 500? per year for the house, garden and large pool in the golf area around Villa Martin (Alicante province)

Suggest you have your meter checked and look at your contract - over a certain amount it goes into a different pricing band but thats sounds a lot to me.

C rikey   That really is expensive, Mine is about 270? , inc Pool and some irrigation also
