Hi everyone, I’m 25 years old Argentine, looking forward to move to Barcelona. I’ve joined the forum to research the better way to get legal in Spain, since getting a contract and a work permit seems to be hard.
I’m a Software developer with more than 4 years experience. Currently I lead several projects in multiple platforms such as C++, Php, .Net, etc.. As a developer I’m very dynamic and love to solve hard problems. Always learning new stuff and helping others when my technical skills are needed.

Well that was my introduction. I’d love to hear from other people working in Spain in the IT/Software area to know how’s the marketplace at the moment.

Also did anyone know if I can by “autonomo” without begin applied to a work permission??

Regards to all,
Mauro

Hello Mauro and welcome to the forum.

I know your field, I am an SAP consultant and in your field and mine, there is A LOT OF JOB even today with the crisis.

To be an “autonomo” you need the same papers that are needed for the work permission

However, pay attention to your move: in Argentina, someone with your profile is now around 5000 pesos, and here you will earn a bit more but pay a lot for everything.

I hope I helped, regards, Martin.

Hi Martin,

As an IT autonomo what is the best way to find a contract.
Directly with international companies
or
Through an IT service company?

Thx.
