Dear All,

Does anyone know of someone having to go back home for a long time and have no option but to leave their pet in a dog pound/cattery?
I have come with an idea that might work as it would benefit my situation also.
I am a full time worker, I have a house and thus a mortgage, but my boyfriend and I are not together anymore but unfortunately we both live in the same house. You can just imagine our situation. I bet there are more and more like us in this recession.
My salary and his income are not enough for us to pay for our mortgage AND another rent.

I am an animal lover ( I studied a degree in animal biology) and I thought that I could look after a pet in exchange of accomodation.
As I am extremely responsible, tidy and clean, I could look after the owner?s pet and the house while he/she is away.
I am well aware that if it is a dog, he/she wil need a good walk every day.
I have my own car, which could be very useful for visits to the vet.
Video reports about the pet and the house could be send periodically if needed.
