I am new to the forum and wanted to say hello.
A little background on me…..I love Spain and everything about it, my first trip was in 1994, I was 10, and I fell in love with the country. We have friends who live in Valencia and Cartagena/Salamanca and they are closer to me than some of my family and I consider them such. From 10 years I visited every year during summer, usually 1 1/2 to 2 months and when I could I visited for the Christmas season. Recently I have started a family and have begun to think about how to lay a foundation for a move to Spain. Given the current financial state of the world I would like to prepare what I can here (classes, education degree, resume, etc.) and wanted to know if anyone knew what an ideal background would be. I am looking to teach ESL but I am open to other options. I speak Spanish quite well and understand everything that is said with the exception of some slang, which I’m sure all of you have encountered because there are A LOT! Comprehension is not a problem which would hopefully give me an advantage.
If I have posted this in the wrong spot please let me know!
Thank you 😊
