Yesterday I did receive a letter from de “DIPUTATION PROVINCIAL DE HUESCA” Asking me to pay three traffic fines for 2007 (169,46 Euros). But there are a few problems
1. Since September 2006 I do not own any kind of motorized vehicles and not even a bike!
2. During my lifetime I have never been in the province of Huesca and of course not in the town (Binefar) where this offenses seam to have taken place.
3. Starting from October 2006 until September 2008, I was, without interruption in the Philippines! The stamps in my passport do testify this fact.
4. BUT… I did sell my car to a Spaniard, living in Binefar/Huesca in September 2006. The transaction was made with the help of the RACC (Automobil Club of Catalunia) and for my part all the asked paperwork has been made properly.
HOW THINGS LIKE THIS CAN HAPPEN???
