I hope someone on here can help.  I and my husband to be are both British citizens we do not own property in Spain and are not catholic.  However,  we would like to get married on the Costa del Sol in a Civil Ceremony (neither of us are religious).  I realise that Gibraltar is an option but we would like to have the whole wedding on the Costa around the Malaga area. 

Since I was 4 I have been going to Montemar as my aunt and uncle own a property there.  I guess it’s a suburb of Torremolinos and sits between Torremolinos and Benelmadena.  I understand the legalities of who can get married where are slightly different but as we both like the area we would like it the wedding to be in this area.

Can anyone advise me as to how we could go about getting the legalities sorted out?
