My wife and I are wanting to move to mainland Spain within the next 18 months and have loads of questions to ask. Our main question though is a medical one, I have type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure and need to find out about healthcare. I have looked through the existing forums and found a feed which states I could get 40% towards healthcare, is this true? If so where can I find out more? I am sorry, I am learning Spanish at the moment but don’t know enough to find my way around the spanish healthcare sites at the moment.
Also where are the better areas to move to for our line of work. I am a Graphic Designer and my wife is an administrator, I guess the bigger areas such as Barcelona or Madrid although we are open to suggestions. (please..) We do hope someone can help, we love Spain, when I was told to take a lifestyle change due to the stress of my job, it seemed the natural thing to do. Thanks. Andy and Clare.
