I have been visiting this site occasionally over the last few months, but now that I have made the decision to move to Spain from the U.K. I have decided to become a member.

My name is Alan, and I have bought a Cave in the North of Granada Province, in a little town called Cuevas del Campo, which is at least 140km from the coast, but only 5 minutes drive to the beach (at Lake Negratin).

The Cave itself was quite habitable to start with, but is in need of general updating and improvement - most of which I will be doing myself, and have already made a start on the plumbing and electrics.

I was taught to be cautious, so I’m taking things as they come at the moment, but I would be interested to hear from anyone else in the area - I’m the only brit for miles at the moment!
