Like I have said in all posts and there are many VISA matters..

Spanish Government has Temporary Closed All Work Visas / Residence Visas To Outside EU….

To Many Unemployed In Spain if your an Employer seeking workers abroad you have to put a GOOD case forward on why you want employ abroad… As there is nearly 5 Million People Unemployed here.

Where have you gotten this information? I can’t find it anywhere online. I am currently in Spain and have a company that wants to sponsor me for a work visa, thus I will be returning to the U.S. until the papers are all processed. But you are saying that the Spanish government has temporarily closed ALL work visas…and then you say that you need to put a GOOD case forward?

AGAIN…. like I said in my Previous posts about Visas / Permits..
You can get them its “Tougher” and There Is “Strict”  Rules to adhere too….
Just Companies that Bring Employees from outside spain have a tougher time now..

These Laws and Rules Done in Emergency Feb This year!

My friend From San Jose came over from Intel and was not allowed to have even a 6months Visa…

Tough Times = Tough Measures…

USA are doing it infact UK All EU!!!! Sorry…. I am not mr bad news….

I would like to add were not being Harsh or saying go away or things like that…

Let me give you an example of what The Spanish Government are doing….

In Salou / Barcelona / Tarragona all tourist places a lot of The police Guardia Civil and so on are doing immigration checks on people at shops or at offices even going into a block of FLATS!!!!

There cracking down on the Brazilians / Africans so on that are have no Visas permits and are here illegally…

We don?t say don?t try its just a fact that Spain is the worst of Country with “La Crisis” than the rest of EU

I would suggest to everyone that?s outside EU to call on there embassies for information on Visas / permits…

AGAIN TOUGH TIMES = TOUGH RULES / Decisions!

Sorry Folks… :-(

OH THIS MY 200th Post do I get a Cake Jurdy?

Yes, I understand what everyone is saying here. I have Spanish friends here that have lost their jobs recently. And there are more and more people every day it seems. The economy in Spain is clearly worse than other places in the EU.

In regard to the work visa though…does anyone have any suggestions for what constitutes a ‘GOOD’ case? I understand that my employer must somehow ‘prove’ that I am the only person for the position and that they can’t find someone in Spain for the same position. In my case, it is a travel agency whose main clients are Americans, and thus one of the reasons would be that she wants a native American english speaker to work directly with clients. Does anyone have any idea if this constitutes a ‘good’ case? I understand this is all subjective, but I have no clue at this point what my chances are, so anyone else’s input/experiences would be greatly appreciated!

A good Case Would most Prob be the following…

Your Employer cannot find “ANYONE” of the Millions of Citizens Of Spain That cannot do the Job and your the only person that can.

Or…

Your Volunteering and your going to be no burden to Spain?s Social… (Would Like To add that Spain is clamping down on this loop hole as well!)
