Hallo….....I’m new to all this but am sure that I will find the forum very informative.  We are moving to Quesada in September and after reading this site realise that there is a lot to take in.

As pensioners, we would like to make our move as stress-free and painless as possible, so if there is anyone out there who can help we would be so grateful?  We are adamant that we will NOT HAVE TO RETURN to the UK (where everyone will be waiting to say ‘I TOLD YOU SO.’

We are also anxious not to lose out on the exchange rates with having to pay our utilities & living expenses, etc…....Anyone who has experienced this please let us know the best way of doing it.  Should we have our pension paid straight into a spanish bank or leave it in the UK and transfer so much each month?

I thought deciding to live in Spain would be soooooo simple.  But it doesn’t seem like it.

Many thanks for any help you can give.
