Can anyone help me out here?  I’m going cross-eyed trying to find the best way to move my two cats from mainland Spain to Mallorca.  We looked at renting a car and driving over ourselves but found we couldn’t take a hire car to Mallorca - which sounds daft to me!  We also looked at flying them over but found out I can’t take them onboard with me and as one of them is 14 years old, I’m not happy about sticking him in the baggage hold (don’t think he’d survive the shock).  I’ve looked at pet couriers too but they’re very expensive and so not really a viable option.  Can anyone give me advice on a better way?

Also, would they need to be fully innoculated/chipped to take them over there?  I’m assuming they should be but our 2nd cat is only 6 months old and so is just about to get his doctor visit for the first time - is there a minimum waiting period before I can move him?

Thank you in advance for any advice.
😊
