Hi everyone, we are a British Couple and just joined the Forum.

We are a mature retired couple (under 60) and my wife and I live in Turkey most of the year. We usually go somewhere hot & sweaty for the winter, as Turkey can be a little wet & cold. We know spains temperatures are similar to here in the winter, but most of the resorts here close down for the season.  This year want a nice break from the weather here but are not bothered about lying about in the sun. 

We are planing to spend the Winter in spain and want to know which is the best area to stay on the costas where there is still a holiday atmosphere with plenty to see and do. 

When we find an area we will be looking to long-term rent for the around 4 months and would need a small studio or 1 bedroom flat, must be modern and fully equipped; be close to the resort centres and around 1 hour from a major airport. 

So any info would be appreciated and should you have a property for rental we would be interested in discussing terms.
