What is the town like?  what facilities are there? Is it busy or quiet?  What nationality are most the population? Do they accept us British? What class of area is it for example I don’t want to live in a snobby area?? ( hope I dont affend) I would really appreciate all your true comments.

I live near Estepona which is subtly different to San Pedro and Nueva Andalucia (both of which I class under the broad umbrella of Marbella).  It is are more Spanish/British than cosmopolitan , international like Marbella.  It is much more down to earth, cheaper and less snobby.  Estepona has no big shopping centre and Marbella has La Canada but then it’s only 20 mins by car.  The beach and seafront at Estepona is excellent as is the public swimming pool/gym.  I would heartly recommend Estepona as a place to live and Marbella as a place to visit.
