Hi,
I came along to Barcelona with my fiance. He is attending grad school for the year here. I thought I would be ok coming without a visa and staying illegally. However, I am realizing I am not the type of person who can do this sort of thing and be ok with it.
So, I am looking into other options, so that I can stay. The best options I can see is returning home before my 90 day tourist visa is up. Then, appying to obtaining a student visa for a 6 month period. I am looking at doing a Spanish Language Intensive program so that I can learn the language and stay here.
I just want to be clear that it is possible to obtain a student visa with an intensive program? How long does the program have to be in order to qualify for a 6 month visa? I have looked on the Spanish Consulate website and I am still unsure of the answer.
Also, if anyone can think of a better options, I am all ears. Thanks in advance for help on this!
