Just joined the site so saying hola to all the members 😊

I am a very young 51 and hoping to move to the Alicante area next spring/summer.

I will be renting somewhere to live, and hopefully doing a TEFL course before i leave here to teach english over there.

Between now and then i am just looking to get to know people (having people to talk to, ask advice etc when i move over will be invaluable) and any information or help anyone can give me on any aspects of work, renting a small property etc much appreciated.

I am currently learning spanish and hope to have a good grasp of it by the time i move.

I hope this site is helpful for me, it seems very friendly when i’ve read thru a lot of the other posts

I like Javea it’s a nice place - the reason i picked Alicante was because it is neither too far south or north, not far from the airport, big bus stn going to plenty of places, has a large town in order to find work - but had a beach on the doorstep for when i finish work

All the above made it sound ideal to me, I don’t drive so also need to be close to a town.
However if anyone knows any different to my plus points or knows of anywhere similar (apart from big cities like Barcelona as they are too expensive) It would be very helpful 😊
