I’m wondering if anyone on this forum has achieved legal status in Spain thru - “arraigo laboral.”  Basically you can solicit a residency permit for one year if you have lived in Spain continually during 3 years and you have a work contract that will last a minimum of 1 year.

I’m American and will not be completing my 3 years until Sept. ‘10, but am curious to know if anyone here has been through the process and has any anecdotes or advice.
