Or does anyone knoe where I can get a double oven style cooker here in Spain(BCN)
Thanks,

Hi,

I have seen lots of different gas cookers in the shops here. Do you have a Worton near where you live? Have seen them in there and also in a few big shops in Malaga. Not sure about whether you could use your cooker from the UK, as most of the gas here is bottled.

Thanks for your reply.
The closest Worton is in Valencia, quite a way away, and checking their webpage they don’t really have what I’m looking for.  I’m looking for a double oven/grill, or oven and eye level grill style. (anything similar to the pic attached)

We do actually have gas natural here from the mains (changed from bottle last year), which is why I’m thinking a UK gas cooker might work here.

Your UK appliance will work in Spain, simply check the instruction manuel it will give gas pressures (Natural Gas) and rates for the EU.

When I worked in Spain we did many injector changes on UK products brought into Spain, any gas appliance will take Butano, Propane or Natural Gas, you just change the injectors and adjust the gas tap.

Although many UK appliances did not come with injectors, the Neff, Bosch products found in the UK are built in Santander, Spain and come with Butano injectors installed, to which UK clients have to have them changed on installation and the appliance comes with the injectors.

Most UK appliances are made for the EU market, although the freestanding appliance you posted is not available in Spain, Superser was the closest, but the brand has been pulled by the Bosch/Siemens group who owned that brand along with Balay, Ufesa, Lynx, Neff.

You may for these reasons find it difficult to exchange the injectors if they don’t come with the appliance.

The EU does not like freestanding double ovens there only found in the UK generally.

Candy do this one which looks like a double oven, but in fact has a dishwasher underneath.

Now I’m afraid all cookers in Spain tend to be single intergrated and if 2 are required they simply have 2 single ovens.

A tip for anybody in Spain wanting a Bosch appliance without paying Bosch prices, simply buy a Balay, its the same identical appliance but with a more realistic price tag.

Here is Interservicio website with the catalogue for all the German owned Spanish made products, Bosch own 7 factories in Spain and all there refrigeration sold under the Bosch brand is made in Spain, but again in Spain buy Balay.

Hi tulstig33

If you see what you like in the UK, why not just ring the makers and ask if it will work in Spain and if they have a Spanish distributor, many will.
