Hi Alan.  I just bought a new battery in San Pedro, I think it is a bad one and I will have to go through the dire process of trying to reclaim. Many people need spares for their cars and in Spain they are often horrendous.  In the UK they are cheap and I have brought over everything from a starter motor to a full 4WD gearbox for a fraction of the Spanish cost through http://www.citibox.es .
