I’ve never wrote on a forum before but its a plea as I am struggling to get any answers off anyone I know.

My boyfriend has a 20 year old german LHD car that he drove to Spain when he moved here permanantly. The plates belong to the british army as he was based in Germany when he brought the car. He needs to give these plates back to the army ASAP. We want to sell the car and get a more suitable runaround car, but his car is not registered here. He did fill out the import forms in Germany.

Can we sell a car thats not registered in Spain but is LHD? I’m at my wits end as no-one seems to be able to answer me! And i’m worried because the car is parked on a public road (not being used) and worried if the Guardia Civil take note of it and get the Grua to take it away. It’s had an ITV and it just needs original coil springs (it’s been lowered).

The car is a Nissan 200SXi, 20 years old if that makes a difference?? I just want rid!!!
