Hello,

My husband, who is from Valencia, and I are planning to relocate to Spain next year.  Currently, we are living in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In preparation for our move, we applied for our Libro de Familia through the Spanish Consulate. which we received last week.

Our next step is to apply for a visa. 

Is it too soon to start the application process now, if we are not moving until next year (January 2011)?  Does the visa expire, if we are delayed in moving? 

Also, if we are living in the United States together, and we were married here, when I apply for the Visa, is the category going to be Residence Visa - Family Reunion?
