I am looking at the possibility of opening a bed and breakfast in the Iznajar area.

I would be renting 2-4 bedrooms in my own home for just bed and breakfast, no other meals and no alcohol.

I have been told two different things.

One is that I need a licence to do so (which seems logical) whilst another person has said because it is in my normal home I do not need to be licensed, just need to declare income for tax.

What is the correct procedure?

If I take over an existing business that has everything correct can it be a simple transfer of names?

Thank you.

Dear Stuart

You need 2 licenses, one from the Tourism Department from the Junta de Andaluc?a and other one from the Town Hall.

When it comes to legal issues, please ensure you take proper advice from professional.
