WE are applying for the non-work visa (I think it is called retirement visa).  WE are in the EEUU still.  The paperwork has all been submitted and we are simply waiting.  The other day, we get a notice forwarded from the office of extrajeneria to the consulate in NY to us saying we need to pay tasa 52: initial authorization of temporary residence.

We are given a form (modelo 790).  THe fee is 10.20 euros per person.  Once this is paid, visas can be issued.

An email from the nice woman at the office of extrajeneria says:

la tasa se puede pagar por transferencia desde la p?gina web del Ministerio de la Presidencia / servicio a al ciudadan?a / gesti?n y pago de tasas / tasa 052.

Si todo funciona bien en nuestra aplicaci?n inform?tica deber?a constar como pagada y no necesitar?amos ning?n justificante. Por experiencia en otros casos sabemos que han pagado las tasas pero no se han volcado los datos en nuestra aplicaci?n y finalmente han tenido que presentarnos el justificante de pago.
Si conoc?is a alguien en Barcelona que pueda pagar las tasas y aportarnos el justificante quiz? sea el m?todo m?s r?pido.

Una vez pagada cualquier persona puede traerla a nuestra Oficina, estamos en Passeig de Sant Joan n?mero 189-191, en la entrada hay que indicar que os den un n?mero para entregar tasas de unas residencias no lucrativas, el c?digo de la mesa es “RT”.

THis seems to imply it is possible to pay it on-line.  When I went to the above web site, it seems I have to somehow have an electronic validation or e-DNI to actually do anything.

Any experience with this?
