Hello all,

My girlfriend and I are moving to Valencia in 4 weeks to live for a while. I’m 30 and my girlfriend is 27, we’re both keen to develop our Spanish (both beginner level) and immerse ourselves in the Spanish culture.  My girlfriend is really keen on us taking flamenco classes, whereas i’m more concerned with eating paella and drinking Rioja! : )

I’m a keen scuba diver so if anyone can recommend a good diving school/club or wants a dive buddy then please let me know.

We have yet to arrange accommodation as we’re not really sure on the best areas to live in, any suggestions on which areas are the best or any areas to stay away from would be most welcome, we have set a rent budget of approx 700 Euro per month.

Also, has anyone used any of the spanish language schools in Valencia? We’ve looked at a few schools on the net but it’s always nice to get a recommendation.
