Texting to the US: Any suggestions on how to text from abroad back to my friends in the US? My cellphone company wants to charge like $0.50 for each text I send and receive which is a little out of my budget. Thanks

Why don’t you just email them. That’s more cost effective. Or do you have a roaming number?
