My mum lives in Spain (Yunquera, Malaga) at present and she wants to return home. Ideally she wants to sell her house but is worried about Inheritance tax that she will have to pay. My parents moved to Spain in September 2004 and my dad died in Jan 2006 in Spain. My mum isn’t enjoying life as much ss she could as where she lives is a very Spanish village in the mountains. She feels very isolated up there on her own. Can anyone help with some information about inheritance tax and the best estate agents to sell the house through? I appreciate any help that can be given.
