Hello,

I’m married to a Spaniard and would like to get my residency card. I have all of the necessary documents and made an appointment online. I received my appointment date and unfortunately, I am currently in the US and need to postpone the appointment. I can’t reach anyone in order to reschedule. Will I be denied another appointment if I don’t show up or can I just make another appointment online?

Also, once my card has been processed, do I have to pick up the card myself or can my husband’s parents pick it up for me? My husband and I go between the US and Spain quite a bit, so I’m not sure if I will be there to pick it up. Do I have to stay in the country until my card has been processed?
