We would love to live in Spain, with the hope of moving these permenantly in the future. After reading lots of posts about it not working out for people etc and some people advised keeping your home in the UK and renting in Spain, I thought that sounded a great idea!
I am wondering how much it costs to rent a place over there, is it similar to the UK? We were thinking somewhere near Murcia, I have a friend in San Miguel de Salinas.
We’d prefer somewhere where there is a lot of Brits, mainly so we can settle in easily with the kids. If we did move there permenantly we’d obviously then want to live in a more Spanish area.
My husband would need to find work!!!!!!!!!!! He can do lots of things, tiling, decorating etc, plus lots of DIY, and he also works in a bar and used to be an entertainer/singer so could maybe find work along those lines???
Schools are important too… our kids are 11 and 4 (just turned).
