We went on our inspection trip last weekend our rep was Karen & she was most helpfull.
We never felt pressured at any time we were shown a variety of different properties in different areas.
The only thing we are worried about now is that we have bought off plan & don’t know much about the building company only what we have been told whilst in Spain,does any one know or have any comments about off plan byJQs in Rojalas.

I’m not saying all Inspection Trips are the same, but usually you only get to see what the organiser wants you to see, and if you purchase, you are usually tied to their solicitor.

Buying off-plan can be a nightmare if things go wrong, so personal recommendations are a must.
You need to ensure that your money is protected at all times, even if the project is never completed for any reason
Check that the plans and the land as well as the contract are legal.
Make sure you know exactly what is included in the sale, and what is extra cost (like furniture, kitchen & bathroom equipment etc.)
Get an independent legal adviser who specialises in your area and type of property to check the paperwork.

Try doing a google search for [Illegal Build] and your area to see if there is any history.

I think the advice you have been given above is exactly correct. I am a little surprised you went for off plan (unless you are investing and hoping to sell on later) given the current selection of new ready now property which is available in the Rojales area.
If in doubt take the time to return and get proper answers to all of your questions - it could well be worth it in the long run. Good luck.

I’m sure we have made the right choice with off plan as we have intensions of renting not living in spain maybe jusy visit ourselves a few times a year.
We did look at a few that were already & available this year but we felt they wern’t the best value for money.
The one we have invested in was the best one for us but we just a little apprehensive seem as it is our first time.
I,ve been doing a little research & as of yet have not found anything bad about builders we bought with they are well established in the area & our independant solicitor said the same,she did searches for us.
Everything seems above board we’ll wait & see.
