We live at about 1,000m in the Sierra Nevada and have a lemon treee which fruits well as it is sheltered . This year we are however having a problem with leaves going yellow on the tree, is this a problem? if so any ideas on how to fix the problem.

i can think of 2 things.

1. drainage. if not draining properly the roots could be rottings which is affecting nutrient intake, etc…

2. lack of nutrients. I beleive lemon trees needs quite a bit of nitrogen. could also be a lack of certain trace elements.
