Living in spain, is it really that good?

Hiya everyone.
My name is sammy I used to live in spain with my parents and have now moved back to the UK. I am currently doing a presentation on living in spain for my college class and would love to hear your views as I need as many as possible. Thanx in advance

Hi Sammy,

That’s a tough question!  I’m sure everyone has a different reason for liking Spain if they took the trouble to move here, and a lot depends on what you compare it to.

Personally, I like the clean air, cheaper petrol, fags and beer, the weather, the people, fresh bread, fruit and veg, the fiestas and local markets. 

The pace of life is more laid-back than the UK, but some of the paperwork and red-tape is a bit frustrating.

I also love the peace and tranquility, the good wine and tapas, the mountains, lakes and natural parks, the quiet roads, and the total absence of chip shops, amusement arcades, golf courses and sky-scrapers.

On a clear day, I can see four mountain ranges from my house, but I am only a few minutes from the beaches surrounding a beautiful lake.

Life sure is nice here!
