Does a Community have to have an AGM every year?

Hi Folkes, new to this site but my search for answers to problems in our community has led me to this site, so here goes:

My question is that I believe an AGM should be called every 12 months. If an AGM is not called after twelve months, how long does the Adminstrator have with regard to community funds before he is operating illegally? Our community at present has gone 17 months without an AGM.

Thanks

Yes it is law to meet annually according to David Searl in his book ‘You & the law in Spain’ (the bible!)

Hi Rob

Many thanks for your reply. You also reminded me that we do infact have that book you mentioned, having bought it 8 years ago when we were thinking of buying our property…time to read it again I think!

Thanks again
