Best bet would probably be a PAYG dongle. These are available from Vodafone, Orange or Movistar to mention just three!

Coverage of 3G systems can be patchy if you are away from the main populated areas so you need to talk to the providers about this. All have websites over here.

Asking a dumb question, these are all in Spain I assume? Buying a PAYG dongle in the UK would presumable be expensive?

Regards

All available in Spain!

Wifey bought a PAYG dongle from Vodafone in the UK to go with her netbook and was told by the Vodafone rep that the dongle was only good for the UK…and would not work in Spain. So at a rough guess that would apply to all PAYG dongles purchased in the UK…ie UK only.

Vodafone Orange and Movistar have outlets all over Spain where these can be purchased.

Just as a matter of interest however, PAYG tends to be rather more expensive over here than the UK; in fact any kind of internet access is expensive here!

If you are planning on using a laptop or netbook there is normally some sort of WiFi signal you can latch onto in the main cities.

foxbat is right. You have to buy a new dongle as the ones from UK don’t work here. If you live in a populated area, you should get yourself a wifi antenna that will boost reception from any hotspots in your vicinity. Well worth the money imo.
