Work Visa

Hello,
We are thinking about to move to Spain.
My question is: Is the reponsability of the employer or employee to get a work visa?
When the person get the work visa how would be the situation of spouse, can she work too?

Hello,

From what I have read the employer is the party that applies for your work permit but you apply for the residence, also it seems as if the employer also pays for the fees.

Notification of work and residence permit approval (COMMUNICACION DE CONCESION DE AUTORIZACION DE TRABAJO Y RESIDENCIA) stamped by the Ministry of Labor (Ministerio de Trabajo y Asuntos Sociales) in Spain and two photocopies. This document cannot be older than 30 days
