I wonder if you can help me, I will be moving to Mazarron in Spain later this year and take regular medication for epilepsy. Is it possible to have my prescription transfered to Spain? I realise that I will probably have to pay for it even though I am medically exempt here. I need advise in this matter as soon as possible.

Many thanks,

If you are eligible for Spanish National Health they will give you a prescription for which there is a small charge for people under pensionable age. If not you make have to make private arrangements - also I believe that some medicines which are only available in the UK WITH prescription may be available over the counter in Spain.
