Satellite and Cable TV are not really options for me so I am looking to find TV on the internet, alot of sites I see are carrying the shows I want but not available outside the US. Other sites I was turned on to are rubbish and completely dodgy with virus’s (got 2) and broken streams of poor quality… any help would be appreciated.

David, give http://3click.tv a try. There is about 180+ TV series, mostly from the US and UK. Every season (24 The Office Heroes Sopranos Dexter etc) has complete seasons so you can watch every episode with no ads.

I have a suspicion that there are more than a few spainexpat members using this now.
I think you can still try it free for 24hrs… works great AND its’ an addicting.

Another one to check out is: http://www.seriesyonkis.com/
As long as you don’t mind the spanish subtitles its got a pretty good selection and as far as I’m aware, the new episodes come up pretty much directly after they are screened in the US/UK.

Have the sites you tried included the official websites for the shows you want to watch? For example, I know you can?t watch full episodes of Grey?s Anatomy from Spain, but you can get The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, South Park, and probably many others as well.

THANK YOU MELVIN for the 3click.tv heads up - it’s fantastic!  Beats the hell out of proxy server offerings…

I just got exceptional value out of my free trial and am cheerfully giving them my money for a month, 24 a week ahead of the UK and no downloading, what more does one need out of life?

Is it 3click.tv or 247kast.com? I’m confused and it looks dodgy as hell. Not sure I’d give them my money at this point.

I emailed 3click this morning about the outtages over the weekend and got this back:

Hello Maya,

Sorry for the interruption in service on Sunday. We had a power supply that stopped working in our data center early Sunday morning. It took a lot longer than expected and we had to replace the server. We always try to avoid taking the site down or disrupting the service whenever possible but occasionally it is unavoidable.

So there we go - hope it’ll be alright tonight.

Mods, am I allowed to say there’s an affiliate link on me blog if anyone wants to try them out?  If I’m not allowed to say this please edit this bit! I still wanted to share the message they sent back to me as it seems like, whatever their legal status, they’re trying to be communicative on the customer service front…

There is no doubt that all these services will be shut down in due course. No matter what they say - or what technicality they claim to be exploiting - they are breaking the law. Be wary about paying them any money upfront/you can’t afford to lose.

I am sure you’re right Chris.  They are ?15 a month so only slightly more expensive than most proxy servers and for me well worth it, to keep up with Lost and 24 without having to download anything (which on my rubbish connection speed takes forever).  If/when they do disappear I for one will be very disappointed, but I am sure something else will spring up in it’s place in due course… probably run by the same people 😊

Download all the latest show the next day after they come out in US.

http://www.eztv.it  and there are many similar.  Install uTorrent program (both for Win and Mac).
Daily Show, Late Night, tv series - its all there.
Perfect quality, ad free, and you watch it when you want it.

At least its FREE sharing, instead of some scam websites making you pay for the content which they dont own!

Not with video AVI/MKV files.  People get viruses from executable files in software packages that they are downloading, those are not recommended for downloading for unexperienced users. You’ll be fine with Video files and anti-virus software.
