Hey Kirby,
Well yeah, you’re right. Brits have come in and ruined Spain. The entire coast, all 4000km of it, has been utterly overrun by fish/chip shops and pubs and ugly condos and fat white people sprawled on the beach. You do NOT want to move to Spain anymore. It’s a very sad, very tragic situation. Don’t even get me started about the Germans…

Doubt you’d like it here anyway, most people use complete sentences and make themselves intelligible despite the L2 interference. What’s your excuse?

Hello there
We have bought a villa in Moraira, and are just waititng for completion of our house sale here to move there.
It is a town which is definitely not spolit or over developed.
We spent about 20 minutes in Torrevieja and left in a hurry - that is an good example of being ruined by cheap developments.
Moraira is, of course, more expensive. But as here you get what you pay for.
We have visited in October, January, February and March. What has impressed us every time is the spotless state of the town and the fact that it is not dead out of season - important for permanent living.
There are very good restaurants and shops, no need to miss anything English it is all available.
There is even a big new supermarket being built as well as 4 or 5 already there, so the town must be thriving.
The beaches are immaculate.
If you can afford it give Moraira a go. Benissa is also nice and a bit cheaper.
