We took one of these vonage boxes over from the uk, you just plug it into your router, connect your house phone to it.
(they deliver in spain now to)

Ok it is ?5.99 a month, but we have a virtual local uk number
ie we live in near burton on trent so 01283 so ring spain we dial 01283 clever hey

We all have uk mobiles with free minutes on them, so we can ring off our mobiles for free to Spain and you can ring Uk landlaines for free.

We think it is good value, hope it helps

Thanks for letting me know, great minds think a like.
It took Vonage a bit longer to work all this out, as they have just started to advertise about Spain.
I here they are looking for people in Spain to promote their service, should be an easy one to sell on.

By the way the reason for my interest in vonage is that i was looking for a business opportunity in Spain as i am looking to move over there next year.

We have two retail computer shops in the uk and i was looking to promote some kind of product out in Spain. ie vonage , but it seems that the best you can get is free 3 months service.

I have spoken to the Md of vonage and told him that offering 3 months free to someone isn’t going to sell the service over in Spain.
They need to offer real incentives to promote the service. He then said i will get the director to contact me, but still waiting. see copy of reply.
