Hi All,

I’m Emily, 30year old English girl, and am moving over to Javea next month, very short notice for work.

Cant wait, but would love to hear from some others who live in and around the area. Just to know what’s going on, what there is to do, see…...all that kind of stuff??

Would be great to hear from anyone who can give me any info of any kind   😊

Hi Wiggies,

Javea is just down the road from me. Very nice town, nice beach, nice old town, and nice food places!! Scallops (british can you tell!) on the sea front does nice fish and chips really cheap, and nice fish restaurants around also.

In the summer it is chaotic (especially parking but thats in the whole of Spain!) but there are various thing to do and many places to see and do. Winter can be a bit quiet, but for me you cannot beat March and the Fallas fiestas…especially in the towns north of you like Gandia, and definately in Valencia - it puts the UKs bonfire night to shame!

There is also a Newspaper for Javea, called the Grapevine, with things to do, shops, services etc
Normally you can find the electronic version here - http://www.copishop.eu - but the site is down ATM.
