Were thinking of moving to spain in the next couple of years but first buying a apartment over there spending as much time as possible there to make sure its right for us and the kids. But dont no what area to start looking at. We would like to be around some brits so were not alone also were there is work im a plumber and hopefully find work doing that. And area which is good for the kids with schools for them. can anyone help

I would suggest renting an apartment from time to time in different areas to give you some idea of different places. If you buy and find it is in the wrong area then you’re stuffed! 🐍

do you know what area your going for South east what part off spain ? Inland .... beside a port with you speedboat and lotto winnings , are up the land rebuilding you down out home , living off the land , Its hard work here not all sea sand and S** if you work hard here you here long time ,

Thinking around alicante somewere, just looking for normal house normal life over there. Dont mind working hard 10-12 hour days are normal for me.

i live in Guardamar Del Segura about 30 mins from alicante airport, have 3 children in spanish state schools, hubby has his own business and i work part time too, we’ve been over here for 2 years and love it !!

are the state schools good i was told when i was in santa susanna you just pay for book is that true. What is your hubbys business does he get plenty of work. Do you know if there is much work for british plumbers over there

I SENT YOU A PM 😊 YES ITS JUST THE BOOKS YOU PAY FOR ALSO IF YOU’RE CHILDREN ARE OVER 6 AND MORE THAN 2.5 K FROM THE SCHOOL AND TRAVEL THERE ON THE SCHOOL BUS THEN THE COMODOR IS ALSO FREE.
