Good Evening To All…

  Hi, I am from India.
I have got Confirmation of Appointment Letter for a Job in Madrid, about 10 days back, which mentions joining date as 1st of May 2010. My employer is going to get Work Permit for me. I have submitted all the documents, they had requested.

My question is that, now hardly 16 days left for 1st may. Will I get my work permit till then? How much time it generally takes?
& will I get visa also by that time?

I am little curious…Please help me out.

      Thank you

Did you send them money to sort out your visa on your behalf?

I have sent them money about 8 days back,as required by the ministries & offices to carry out legalisation of documents & Visa fee.

Try to get your money back. This is a scam. No employer ever makes their employee pay for their work visa. It’s completely unethical and will not work out for you. I’ve attached another example of an employment scam.

I’m sorry to have to brreak this to you.

Your guess is as good as mine! You sent money to someone you don’t know in a foreign country… unlikely there’s any method of recourse for you, but I’m sure a lawyer will take more money from you in order to try to get it back. 😊

I’m sorry! That’s a terrible situation!

Actually the whole process took about 3 months time.

After about 2 and half month they asked for money, that to also, the lady who asked for money, she is an Immigration Lawyer .

They approached me by looking at my CV posted online. Then I search for their job requirement,They had posted their ad on 3 different Job websites.

I search on google earth & found out the location also, they have mentioned.

& finally the amount was not very high,I checked that online, the same cost every lawyer demands.

That is the only reason I paid the money:(

I don’t know now,what to do…
