I recalled your email as we walked along the coast in Torrevieja yesterday where the street sellers were selling bootleg shirts (lacoste etc) I would say selling genuine gear in a market would mean most people thinking they were bootleg and only wanting to pay bootleg prices.
Also some friends bought 2 bootleg Chinese watches off the internet but were asked to pay duty when they arrived in Spain so I dont know if you will have a problem at customs. I have just bought a GPS from America via the net for a fantastic price but I have a feeling that I will also be charged import duty when it arrives in Spain probably meaning I might as well have bought it in Spain.
