My fiance is Australian (I’m a Brit). She is looking for car insurance but has been told by an insurance company that deals with ex-pats that they can’t insure her because they only deal with Brits. Anyone know of any insurance companies in Spain that speak English that might be able to help her?

Hi Warren,

Msc Insure should be able to provide insurance for your fiance.  Unlike the UK the insurance policy covers the car, therefor anyone with a Full Driving license over the age of 30 - 35 (depending on the insurer) with the owners permission is insured to drive the car.

insurance , did she have insurance in Uk befor get here?

and if not she need to get letter for her insurance company back home with letter for loacl cop shop aswell for frist time insurance in the EU ,,,

hey warren.. try out 4insure.. i used them when i was abroad in spain and they were really helpful and flexible with expats
