I truly think that BBC News is a very accurate media.

Please review the following video before wasting your money in a property in Spain.

The market is going to crash very soon but nobody know when it will happen.

Hi Peter,

I think it’s interesting that you’ve posted a few times with similarly disastrous news items yet failed to respond to those who question you further.

Are you trying to help or are you a troll?

I am simply informing about what is really happening here in Spain. Prices are going to drop very hard and people need advice to be carefull in their investment.

At last I am not paid by property developers for making web pages that tell how good is the live in Spain if you pay 300.000 euros for a property here.

True, you might not be paid by property developers to advertise Spain as a positive place, but clearly there are those willing to pay money to disenfranchise potential buyers too. There are big differences in regional property markets as well, which doesn’t seem to be taken into account in the above portrayal. I like the BBC too, although I’d not bother boasting my opinion on their “accuracy.”

If you want to discuss the property market then please feel free to do so here. This site is not paid for by property developers. But be prepared to actually discuss the issue.

Anyway, a correction in the property market in Spain should be a good thing in the long-term.

Yes, I have heard that the last UK media attention in the Spanish property crash can be speculative movements to other investment places like East Europe. Surely only rumours but a lot of people would be very happy if the demand towards there.

Actually the young people in Spain is suffering a great problem with the affordable housing being almost imposible to make a familly in this circunstances. I have heard similar issues in UK mainly near London.

Also the main problem in Spain has been the politic corruption that has given thousand of million of euros to property developers who bought the political class,  poorer people day by day, and some british scammend on the way.

This incident ocurred several days ago but today the spanish media is talking seriously about it.

In a interview at BBC News Spanish Housing Minister replied with a short but clear “No comment”
a question about the Spanish property crash.

Here are the links of the main Spanish newspapers websites talking about this issue. The common
conclusion in all media is that something very serious is happening with the Spanish property market.

I tried to watch the video but I got this message, “This is a private video. If you have been sent this video, please make sure you accept the sender’s friend request.”  On my first trip to Spain I was surprised to see how expensive property was.  I wouldn’t mind seeing a correction though as I may end up living in Spain for a long time and it would be nice to be able to afford something.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced a drop in the property market as yet -i.e. prices being reduced all of a sudden, or whatever.  My agent seems to deny this and even for cash, says the owners won’t drop the price.  Perhaps they are just being oppurtunistic and hanging on.  Perhaps I should forget the little property I’m after, but then again, I must get a few places to view before I book my flight from India in a couple of weeks time….

I have to buy when I come over in October as I wont get the chance to visit again before we move out to Spain - but not sure what to do now….about accepting a property at the price it stands at or see what happens when I get therein Oct.
