1)Is dating in Spain similar to that of North America?
2)I heard the age of consent is 13,is this true?
3)Is abortion really illegal?
4)If I get a woman pregnant, does this mean I have to get married/screwed over because of abortion laws?
a)What if the girl is legal for sex,but not marriage, would the law still make me marry her?
b)What if her parents were angry and “insisted”?

I need this cleared up as I’m considering Spain as a future residence.Thank you!

1. Dating is a bit different in Spain.

2. I think you’re right about the age of consent.

3. Abortion is definitely legal.

4. What do you mean?

a) WHAT? There’s no mandatory marriage obligations whatsoever.

b) See a)

I’m concerned why you are concerned about these topics. It doesn’t bode well for you here. Women tend to want a commitment or marriage before having sex (IMO), it’s a bit more Christian/traditional. Kids live at home until they’re married or until they’re into their 30s-40s.

I think (not that I have had to know about this) but the age of consent has risen to be a more acceptable EU norm.

These are the most important questions you need cleared up before you go to spain? I would just avoid having sex with minors, use a condom when you have sex with adults, and you should be just fine. Same as any other country..  If you get a woman pregnant its not abortion laws that’s screwing you over, it’s the situation you’ve put yourself in. In most developed countries, as a man you have no power to decide whether a woman gets an abortion, anyway. So whether its legal is irrelevant.

Also, who ever heard of an anti-abortion law that forces you to marry someone?
